- Exercise regularly (stay active).
- Maintain ahealthy weight (max 26 BMI).
- If you drink alcohol, drink only in moderation.
- Get adequate sleep.
- Take steps to avoid infection, such as washing your hands frequently and cooking meats thoroughly.
- Use antioxidant nutrients such as vitamin A, C and E. They protect against oxidative damage.
- Probiotics can help.
- Vit D is important.
