A headache is more likely to be a serious condition when:
• It occurs suddenly and is very severe.
• Doesn’t go away and gets worse in time.
• It occurs after serious trauma.
• It triggers F.E. coughing, sneezing, changes in posture.
• It goes together with physical exertion.
• It goes together with weakness, loss of equilibrium, slurred speech, confusion,
memory loss and drowsiness.
• It goes together with high temperature, stiff neck, jaw pain while chewing and
redness in the eyes.
