Normal eye motions are not possible. Only the lateral rectus m. and superior oblique m. are intact.
The pupil does not react to light.
The consensual reaction (other eye) is normal when the light is in the eye being tested.
The head changes posture: if the pupillary area is uncovered, the head takes a posture consistent with the directions of actions of the paralyzed muscles. The head is turned in the opposite site, tilted towards the same side and with the chin slightly raised.
