Visceral pelvic disease can influence the sympathetic and parasympathetic segments and cause somatic dysfunctions in the thoracolumbar area and in the sacral area.

Adhesions in the visceral pelvis can have mechanical influence on the different joints of the pelvic region.

Especially the tensegrity system of the pelvis will be influenced.
