Manipulation of a valgus knee

When a knee valgus is present, there is often:

  • compression in the lateral knee compartment
  • retraction of lateral knee soft tissues such as capsule, lateral collateral ligament, tendon of the TFL
  • hypermobility in the medial knee compartment
